you will write an analytical paper in which you successfully blend in four outside Scholar sources along with a primary text that I choose ( Movie: Beyond the lights )

This paper’s introduction must posit a thesis statement (analytical, not informative). The body of your paper will offer “proof” to support the thesis statement from the primary text and using the outside sources to support your reading.

The discussion of Beyond the lights should be specific and associated the 4 scholar sources you find.

For example: Examine the representations of women in the text. Do the women characters “fight the power” in terms of patriarchal oppression and overcome it? Or, are they oppressed by the patriarchy. Is the text sexist in its representation of women? Are the women resisting patriarchal oppression?
