In the first week of this course, you considered your prior knowledge with regard to topics of importance to the early childhood field, as well your career goals and what you hoped to gain from the course. In this Discussion, you will reflect on how the course has influenced your understanding of and thinking about the early childhood field and what it means to be an early childhood professional. As you recall your work in the course over the last 12 weeks and what you have learned, consider the following:
- How has your view of what it means to be an early childhood professional changed since Week 1, and in what ways?
- How did your learning in this course confirm, expand upon, and/or conflict with your prior knowledge with regard to professional organizations, research, and advocacy in the early childhood field?
- What are the most valuable insights you gained from this course? How might you use these insights in the future?
