A Red, Red Rose

Adapted from the famous poem BY ROBERT BURNS

O my love is like a red, red rose

That’s newly sprung in June;

O my love is like the melody

That’s sweetly played in tune.

So beautiful are you, my pretty lady,

So deep in love am I;

And I will love you still, my dear,

Until the seas become dry.

Until the seas become dry, my dear,

And the rocks melt from the sun;

I will love thee still, my dear,

While the minutes of life run.

Until the seas become dry.

Until the seas become dry, my dear,

And the rocks melt from the sun;

I will love thee still, my dear,

While the minutes of life run.

So farewell, my only love!

So farewell for a while!

But I will come again, my love,

Even if I travel ten thousand miles.
