Executive Summary

This report provides us detail information on the working and history of Sunshine Hospitality Ltd. This company is a housekeeping contracting company which deals with providing good housekeeping service to a hotel or serviced apartments. The report provides a look at how the service is provided to the contracted company. All the detailed information about the cost for providing the service will also be provided in the report shown by a well presented bar chart.

Introduction:

Sunshine hospitality service is one of the best hospitality guest services outsourcing provider for the accommodation industry. Our company was established in 1989 and have developed many contracts with serviced apartments all over Australia. Our service provides a high quality alternative to the in-house approach. It is an effective alternative that guarantees to deliver good service and better result at lower cost. All of our team members are trained specially for the hospitality guest services. Sunshine hospitality now employs more that 1000 staffs servicing a range of hotels from three-five star, as well as luxury and boutique sites. In addition, our senior management is in Sydney and we do have branches in Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Adelaide and Cairns.

Methodology

Since 70% of the guests are corporate guest, we will be collecting our date focusing on them. We have chosen two ways of collecting data and it will recorded as one as a primary and the other as a secondary. The primary data will be collected from face to face interview. And the secondary data will be collected from guest survey which they usually sent to fill it up once the guest checks out from the property.

The check out time of this hotel is 10 am so we will be asking the reseach question to all the corporate guest who comes in the reception to hand over the key. So by this way there is a less chances of missing out the guest and this data will be recorded as a primary data.

The ones who checks out leaving the key in the apartment and departs directly from the car park; for them we will be sending a guest survey and once it has been filled up by the guest., it will be recorded as a secondary data.

So in this way we will be collecting primary and secondary data.

Limitations:

We may face few difficulties while collecting the data like

· Corporate guests are always in a hurry as they have to start their work so they won’t be interested in answering our questions.

· Most of the guest might not be filling up the guest surveys.

Timeline:

Since we have a limited time to collect the data and research about the property we have planned to follow the following schedule so that everything remains on the track
