how to properly write a comparison

Using the techniques you learned in Unit 3, your task is to write a paper comparing one of the four Flannery O’Conner’s stories to another. The purpose is to explore one aspect of the story. What do these two stories have in common? How are they different? Most importantly, what is the significance of these similarities and differences in the overall understanding of both stories? How does one help us to understand the other?

Take a look at Chapter 12 for a discussion of how to properly write a comparison/contrast paper. Look also at the sample essay in Blackboard, which compares and contrasts two films. Though the medium is different, the structure and intent is the same.

Minimum length: 750 words.
