Directions: Read Unit II and look at the WEBCOM SITE. You will want to look at the
Student Resources tab for links. Look at Text Supplement to find this in Word.
Answer all questions in complete sentences. Also, be sure that you answer all questions. Be thorough and detailed in your work. Neatness also counts in your grade. Be sure to include your references. Spelling should be correct and be sure to use proper English grammar. Turn assignment in on the due date. Look up information in library books and websites so you can view art. Also look at web sites in the tab, LINKS. Look at art books from libraries in order to view details and close-ups of great art works. You should also view good websites and visit good museum sites. You may want to use additional paper and you may want to add additional spacing to this assignment. You can hand write if you are in my class. Or use WORD (By using Word: copy – paste) Keep track of your references and put them down.
You will want to look at the web site and the power points related to the great artists from this Unit II that will be found in the tab named Student Resources found in WEBCOM. You will find answers for this assignment in the text by reading Unit II in your text. Go to the student resources tab in WEBCOM 2 as well and look up information by looking at the art in the Links in the tab called Student Resources. In the Student Resources tab you will also find a detailed horizontal colored TIMELINE. Look at this throughout the course. There are also handouts in this area to help you with the order of the historical periods which are part of the timeline. Do not worry about the dates being exact. Different sources give approximate dates. Dates also overlap with time periods so dates are all approximate. Assignments and tests are located in WEBCOM 2 in assignments and tests. Be NEAT if you are writing it by hand and are an in class student.

Note:
(An edition is either 5 or 15 or 25 or 100 etc. pieces of all the same. It (in other
words the artist makes prints of the same work several times and then writes the
number on the work. The artist writes the total number of how many prints
he did on the bottom and the number of the one he printed in the order of
how he signed them in the order on the top.)
Example 1/25 2/25 3/25 4/25 5/25 etc. The last would be good for a
collector and it would look like 25/25
Note:
The first one would also be more valuable and it looks like 1/15 1/50 1/100 etc.
The last would look like 50/50 100/100 40/40 25/50 1/200 200/200
The first and last are the ones out of an entire group (edition) that all look the same that you want to buy if you are an investor.
