Young Goodman Brown

Below, I have listed several links to short stories that I believe will be good options for your research paper. You should be able to find a number of critical sources on each of these, and most are rich with themes and symbols.

However, you are not limited to the stories listed below. You may use another work of literature, including a play or poem. If you select something that does not appear on the list below, you must get approval from me before proceeding, so let me know as soon as possible.

DISCUSSION

Discuss: DUE MARCH 29 10PM

1. What work of literature did you choose and why?

2. What aspect of the work will you be researching?

3. What concerns do you have about this assignment?

DUE March 30. 1 or 2 paragraph for each questions is fine. you must respond to 2 other students, and agree, or disagree with their post. So the sooner I get the original discussion, sooner you’ll have time to respond to 2 students. Because I can’t see other posts before I submit mine. In your responses, write what you found interesting in someone’s posting. Develop your ideas to ten sentences or more. You can agree, disagree, or expand on the thoughts posted by your peers. You can ask questions, but try to answer your own questions when you do.
