Did he or she belong to any slightly artistic Movements? Did he or she have opinions on the broader political, religious, or social issues of the era, and if so, how did they affect his or her work? Her work still valued today?

The research paper target is Jules Verne.
The years between the 1870s and the Second World War saw the creation of many great works of literature, art, and music. The study of the creators of these works is interesting in itself and can also shed light on the broader cultural developments of this time. Many creators worked in new styles that became known as Modernism or Modern Art, but others worked in more traditional styles.
The paper should be a biography of the selected person but should also go beyond that to analyze his or her life and work. It should also situate him or her in the context of his or her times. Did he or she belong to any slightly artistic Movements? Did he or she have opinions on the broader political, religious, or social issues of the era, and if so, how did they affect his or her work? Her work still valued today?

Find a right in the United Nation’s, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights that is NOT found in the American Constitution. Discuss why, or why not, this right should be included in the U.S. Constitution. Support your position using supporting research from your course readings and/or other outside sources. Include a references slide at the end of your presentation. Please note, these documents were written more than 150 years apart from each other. How might that have been an issue? Also, the United Nation’s document was written shortly after the end of WWII and at the start of the so-called, Cold War. Consider how pluralism and the changing demographics of American society including the pending Civil Rights movement might impact how American’s would view a potential new right added to the Constitution. Please note in Federalist Paper No. 10 Madison’s view on the obligations of the “majority” in society.

Part A: In a reflection piece, examine the three documents: The U.S. Constitution (1787), France’s Declarations of Human and Civic Rights (1789), and the United Nation’s The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). Find examples of four rights that are shared by all three documents. Think about this a moment: where do our rights come from? Speculate on how the authors of these documents knew which rights to include. What can we surmise by finding a shared body of rights in all three documents?

Part B: Write a formal letter to all of your Congressmen (House of Representatives and Senators) from your state, (Research and find the contact information for your own Congressmen) asking them to propose a new amendment and why (see below). It must contain a good balance of emotion and passion, and the necessary facts and research to be a viable amendment. You can write just one letter, but you must research your state’s Congress(wo)man and find their contact information and list them at the end of your letter. You must be persuasive and convince your state’s Congressmen to believe in your viewpoint and help you get the new amendment proposed. Be sure to cite at least three of the course’s assigned reading articles in your research in order to to give credibility to your proposal. Choose either A or B below.

A). Find a right in France’s, Declarations of Human and Civic Rights of 26 August 1789 that is NOT found in the American Constitution. Discuss why, or why not, this right should be included in the U.S. Constitution. Support your position using supporting research from your course readings and/or other outside sources. Include a references slide at the end of your presentation. Please note, these documents were written in the same era. How might that have been an issue? Also be aware that France had suffered a bloody revolution while the United States, relatively speaking, did not. Consider how pluralism and the changing demographics of American society might impact how American’s would view a potential new right added to the Constitution. Please note in Federalist Paper No. 10 Madison’s view on the obligations of the “majority” in society.

Many families pass down traditions that stem from their ethnic origins. Maybe your family passes down beloved recipes or holiday traditions that you don’t even realize come from the countries of your ancestors. Music is another important tradition that links us to our ancestry. In this paper, students will choose a country or region of the world where their ancestors came from, and research music from that country’s past and present.

Music is another important tradition that links us to our ancestry. In this paper, students will choose a country or region of the world where their ancestors came from, and research music from that country’s past and present.

INSTRUCTIONS

Choose one country or region of the world from your own heritage. Using some of the research skills that you learned in your Music Resources on the Web assignment in Module 1, compose a paper that is at least 1000 words long about the music in that country or region’s past and present. Topics might include, but are not limited to: folk music traditions, any major composers from that country, ways that music might have helped shape political movements in that country, ways that those traditions now influence modern musicians, or any rock or pop acts that have come out of that country.

Assemble a list of works cited using a variety of different sources. You should consult at least one print source, and at least three sound recordings. It would be terrific if you can interview a family or community member. Do not use Wikipedia in your list of sources. Avoid YouTube. YouTube can only be used if you use a channel in which the content was created by, and the copyright owned by, that channel’s creator. Most YouTube Channels do not meet that criteria, so avoid it altogether.  Do not use these in your list of sources.  Listen to This is also not allowed because research implies reading beyond the textbook.

Your paper and your works cited list must be formatted to MLA standards. Here is a link to an excellent sample paper in MLA format. Here is a link to a sample works cited list in MLA format. The Purdue Owl is also an excellent guide to citing different types of sources, like websites and sound recordings.

It should be a music from Ghana west Africa because that is where i am from which can be either hip-life, highlife or afro beats.
